Nielsen, Svend

Nielsen, Svend, Danish composer and teacher; b. Copenhagen, April 20, 1937. He studied theory with Holmboe at the Royal Danish Cons, of Music in Copenhagen (graduated, 1967). After advanced composition studies with Nrgård, he taught at the Jutland Cons. of Music in Århus.
