Fink, Christian
Fink, Christian, German organist and composer;b. Dettingen, Aug. 9, 1822; d. Esslingen, near Stuttgart, Sept. 5, 1911. He studied at the Leipzig Cons., where he became organist (1856–60). In 1863 was appointed church organist at Esslingen. He publ. numerous organ works. Fink was greatly esteemed in Germany, where his choral works and organ pieces were often performed.
