Bronner, Georg

Bronner, Georg, German organist and composer; b. Hamburg (baptized), Feb. 17, 1667; d. there (buried), March 8, 1720. In 1688 he became sacristan at the Heilig Geist hospital in Hamburg. In 1689 he also assumed the post of organist there, remaining in both positions until 1719. A number of his sacred works are extant.
