Bratz woof! 2007 (PG)

Four high school freshmen and best friends (Ramos, Browning, Parrish, and Shayne) find themselves at odds with the bossy student body president, who aims to split them up into (gasp!) separate social cliques. There's singing and dancing (like a big, long, pink, fluffy music video), and how sweetly cliche is it that these real-life Bratz are all from different ethnicities and socioeconomic classes, yet still BFFs? At least these girls are (somewhat) real humans and not the creepy-faced, bubble-headed dolls (and animated characters) the movie is based on, but even your lip gloss-wearing 'tweener will roll her eyes at the mere suggestion of this film, which is cloying at best, intolerable at worst. 100m/C DVD . US Skyler Shaye, Anneliese van der Pol, Jon Voight, Lainie Kazan, Nathalia Ramos, Janel Parrish, Logan Browning, Chelsea Staub, Stephen Lunsford, Ian Nelson; D: Sean McNamara; W: Susan Estelle Jansen; C: Christian Sebaldt; M: John Coda.
