Holy Roman empress. Name variations: Kunigunde. Flourished in the 900s; daughter of Berthold, pfalzgraf of Swabia; married Liutpold of Bavaria, margrave of Bavaria; married Conrad I, Holy Roman emperor (r. 911–918); children: (first marriage) Arnulf the Bad, duke of Bavaria (r. 907–937); Berthold, duke of Bavaria (r. 938–947); (second marriage) Cunigunde of Germany (who married Werner, count of Worms). Liutpold's first wife was Hildegarde of Bavaria (c. 840–?).
