Born Alexandra Victoria Augusta Leopoldine Charlotte Amelia Wilhelmina on April 21, 1887, in Grunholz, Germany; died on April 15, 1957, in Lyon, France; daughter of Frederick Ferdinand, duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg, and Caroline Matilda of Schleswig-Holstein (1860–1932); married Augustus William (son of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Augusta of Schleswig-Holstein ), on October 22, 1908 (divorced 1920); married Arnold Rumann, on January 7, 1922 (divorced 1933); children: (first marriage) Alexander Ferdinand (b. 1912), prince of Prussia.
