Midfielder; joined German national team (1989), becoming Germany's 3rd all-time leading scorer; won team European championships (1991, 1995, 1997, 2001); played for FFC Brauweiler-Pulheim; won a team bronze medal at Sydney Olympics (2000); signed with Boston Breakers (2002). Named German Player of the Year (1997).
