Employed as maid in London at mansion of Lord Torrington, was persuaded by a man named Peters to assist him in robbing the house; when the 2 were discovered by a housekeeper during the robbery, held a candle to provide Peters with enough light to cut the housekeeper's throat; with Peters, made off with household silverware and about 30 guineas; condemned to death for her part in the crime, was executed at age 19.
