American activist. Born c. 1938 in Port Huron, MI.
Became 1st woman to successfully sue psychiatrist for inveigling her into sexual relationship under guise of therapy (1971); awarded compensatory damages of $250,000 and punitive damages of $100,000 in case against Dr. Renatus Hartogs in NY (1975), and Hartogs's appeal was turned down (1976); wrote with Lucy Freeman, Betrayal (1976).
