Suzanne Beauregard Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support young golfers who wish to pursue their studies. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have completed at least one full year in a post-secondary degree program and show a minimum average of 70%; must be a full-time student at a university, college or CEGEP; must demonstrate a record of athletic and academic excellence; must be a member in good standing of Golf Quebec; must demonstrate regular participation in community and or extracurricular activities. Criteria: Candidates will be judged based on the information contained within their applications and support materials.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Application forms are available online and must be sent to RCGA, 1333 Dorval Dr., Ste. 1, Oakville, ON L6M 4X7. Deadline: June 30.

Canadian Seniors Golf Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to young Canadian men and women. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Canadian men and women who elect to obtain an education and participate in the golf program at a RCGA Foundation-recognized university in Canada; must have successfully completed at least one full year in a post-secondary degree program and show a minimum average of 70% in each year of the program; must have experience in competitive golf at a regional, provincial or national level; must have been accepted at and plan to attend an RCGA Foundation recognized college or university, and must have been named or be becoming named to the institution's golf team. Criteria: Candidates will be judged based on the information contained in their applications and support materials.

Connor/Spafford Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist promising Nova Scotia Atlantic Canada men and women to obtain a degree and participate in the golf program at a university. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or a resident in Atlantic Canada; must have successfully completed at least one full year in a postsecondary degree program and have maintained a minimum average of 70%; must have been accepted at a university or college and have been named or will be named to the institution's golf team; must have experience in competitive golf at a regional, provincial or natural level. Criteria: Preference will be given to applicants who were born in or are residents in Nova Scotia.

Mary Ellen Driscoll Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to Canadian women. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a female Canadian citizen or a resident in New Brunswick; must have successfully completed at least one full year in a post-secondary degree program at a recognized educational institution; must have been accepted at a university or college and have been named or will be named to the institution's golf team; must have experience in competitive golf at the regional, provincial or national level. Criteria: Preference will be given to applicants who have been accepted to a college or university in Canada with a recognized golf program.

Georgia Hilton Academic Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist a promising university student. Focus: Sports studies; Business administration. Qualif.: Applicants must be university students studying towards a degree in sport/business administration; must show a minimum average of 80% in the last two years of high school, or CEGEP, and have attained a graduation diploma (minimum Grade 12). Must also have completed at least one full year of education in a post-secondary degree program at a recognized institution; must intend to continue in an undergraduate or graduate program in sport/business administration; must have experience in competitive golf at a regional, provincial, or national level; must have participated in community and/or extracurricular activities; must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant. Criteria: Candidates will be judged based on the information contained in their applications and support materials.

Nu-Gro Corporation Turfgrass Scholarships (Graduate) (Graduate, Postgraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist promising students toward a postgraduate degree in turfgrass management. Focus: Turfgrass management. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student of turfgrass agronomy or turfgrass management; must have completed a relevant undergraduate program at a recognized university or college; must have been accepted as a full-time student in a graduate or postgraduate degree in agronomy/turfgrass management; must have experience in the game of golf and a desire to pursue a career in the golf industry; must have participated in community and/or extracurricular activities. Criteria: Candidates will be judged based on the information contained in their applications and support materials.
