Norwegian biathlete. Name variations: Liv Grete Skjelbreid; Liv Grete Skjelbreid-Poiree or Poirée. Born July 7, 1974, in Bergen, Norway; sister of Ann-Elen Skjelbreid (biathlete); m. Raphael Poiree (French biathlete), 2000.
Won a bronze medal for the 4 × 7.5 km relay at Nagano Olympics (1998); won World championship sprint (2000); won 4 out of 5 medals at World championships (2001), coming in 2nd overall; won silver medals for the 4 × 7.5 km relay and 15 km indiv. at Salt Lake City (2002).
