Newall, Sybil (1854–1929)

English archer. Born Oct 17, 1854; died June 24, 1929.

At London Olympics, won a gold medal in the national round (1908), was the oldest female Olympic champion in history; went by the name of Queenie; won British championship (1911, 1912, and 1914), and competed for the final time in 1928 at age 74.
