MacMillan, Shannon (1974–)
American soccer player. Born Shannon Ann MacMillan, Oct 7, 1974, in Syosset, NY; attended University of Portland.
Won a team gold medal at Atlanta Olympics (1996) and a team silver at Sydney Olympics (2000); won a team gold at World Cup (1999); was a founding member of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA); signed with San Diego Spirit (2001). Won Hermann Award and named Soccer America Player of the Year (1995).
