Star of musical comedies, made stage debut in vaudeville in an act titled the Lightner Sisters and Alexander; stage successes include George White's Scandals of 1923 and Gay Paree; films include Gold Diggers of Broadway, Show of Shows, She Couldn't Say No, Manhattan Parade and Dancing Lady.
