Byzantine and Roman empress. Born c. 320; dau. of Constantius also known as Constantine I the Great, Roman emperor (r. 306–337), and Fausta (d. 324); granddau. of Helena (c. 255–329); m. Julian, Roman emperor and Byzantine emperor (r. 361–363).
