Queen of Poland. Born on May 19, 1474 (some sources cite 1476); died on January 24, 1513; daughter of Sophia of Byzantium (1448–1503) and Ivan III (1440–1505), grand prince of Moscow (r. 1462–1505); married Alexander (1461–1506), king of Poland (r. 1501–1506), on February 15, 1495.
