Made NY debut in Ballyhoo (1927), subsequently appearing in Nightstick, The Behavior of Mrs. Crane, Lost Horizons, Life with Father, The Royal Family, and This Too Shall Pass, among others; films include Lover Come Back, My Friend Irma, Operation Pacific, A Place in the Sun, Three Coins in the Fountain, Daddy Long Legs, Guys and Dolls and A Certain Smile.
