Curtis, Harriot (1881–1974)
American golfer and tennis player. Born Harriot S. Curtis, June 30, 1881, in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA; died Oct 25, 1974, in Manchester-by-the-Sea; sister of Peggy Curtis.
Won USGA championship (1906); donated a trophy, thus beginning the Curtis Cup (1932).
