New Zealand scout leader. Name variations: Selina Robertson. Born Selina Robertson, probably May 21, 1849, at Cairneyhill, Perthshire, Scotland; died Oct 23, 1929, at Christchurch, New Zealand; dau. of William (farmer) and Catherine (Campbell) Robertson; m. David Cossgrove (teacher and scout leader), 1875 (died 1920); children: 3 daughters, 5 sons.
Instructed Maori women in child care, hygiene and health; with husband, was instrumental in establishment of New Zealand's Girl Peace Scouts' Association (c. 1908).
