American actress. Name variations: Evelyn Quick, Janet Carmen. Born Florence Lavinia Quick, July 13, 1897, in Danville, Kentucky; died Mar 4, 1984, in San Diego, California; m. Roland West (director), 1918.

Lauded for her performance in A Tale of Two Cities (1917), was also star of The Bat; other films include Intolerance, The Half Breed, Flirting with Fate, Les Miserables and Nobody; was often Douglas Fairbanks' leading lady.
