Partnered with Carolyn Waldo, won Rome and Spanish Opens (1985), FINA World Cup (1985, 1987), Spanish Open (1986), Commonwealth Games (1986), World championships (1986), Pan Pacific championships (1987) and a gold medal in duet at Seoul Olympics (1988). Received Order of Canada (1989); inducted into International Swimming Hall of Fame (2000).
