Made London debut in One Darn Thing After Another (1927), followed by This Year of Grace, Wake Up and Dream, Mother Goose, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sporting Love, On Your Toes, Crazy Days, Rose Marie and the lead in Chu Chin Chow; films include Lassie from Lancashire, Laugh It Off and I Didn't Do It.
