Greek mystic who lived in Roman Asia (now Turkey) and authored Oneirocritica (Interpretation of dreams). The text, one of the most often quoted works on dream interpretation, is a collection of earlier works. The first three books deal with dreams and divination; the fourth book addresses critics and contains an appendix.
