Tetragonuridae
Tetragonuridae (squaretail; subclass Actinopterygii, order Perciformes) A small family of marine fish that have a very elongate, slender body, two dorsal fins, an anal fin with one spiny ray, and a square or truncate tail fin. They are probably pelagic fish, feeding on jellyfish and other planktonic organisms. There are three species, distributed widely in tropical and subtropical seas.
