Cynipoidea
Cynipoidea (order Hymenoptera, suborder Apocrita) A superfamily of small or very small insects, in which the gaster is laterally compressed and the wing venation distinctive. Some are yellow or reddish-brown, but most are dark in colour. The most important family is the Cynipidae (gall wasps).
