Centroceratida (class Cephalopoda, subclass Nautiloidea) Order of generally evolute, gyroconic cephalopods in which the siphuncle is sub-central in position. Some forms are nautiliconic. Sutures are trilobed. The order ranges in age from Lower Devonian to Upper Jurassic.
