Buddleja
Buddleja (family Loganiaceae) A genus of trees and shrubs plus a few herbs, many of them ornamentals, which are rich in alkaloids. The flowers are clustered, attractive to butterflies, tetramerous, and have a superior ovary. There are about 100 species, occurring in the tropics and subtropics, and especially in eastern Asia. The genus is sometimes separated into its own family, Buddlejaceae.
