LEDERER, FRANCIS
LEDERER, FRANCIS (1899–2000), Czech actor. Born near Prague, Lederer made his first appearance in Berlin in 1928 and was engaged by Max Reinhardt to play with Elizabeth Bergner in Romeo and Juliet. He made his London debut in 1931 and subsequently acted on the New York stage and in films. In 1958 he toured the U.S. as Mr. Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank. On television he appeared in Mission Impossible and The Untouchables.
