Upa Veda. Secondary Veda in Hinduism, attached to, but having no other connection with, revealed Veda. They are (i) Āyur Veda, on medicine; (ii) Ghāndharva Veda, on music and dance; (iii) Dhanur Veda, on archery and military skills; (iv) Sthāpatya Veda, on architecture (sometimes referred to as Śilpa Śastra).
