EXCLAMATION.
1. A cry; a sudden loud or emphatic utterance: Hey! Ouch!

2. A SENTENCE that conveys a strong emotion: Please leave me alone!

3. Also exclamatory sentence. A type of sentence, often verbless, that begins with what or how (followed by a noun phrase): What courage! What a meal that was! How marvellous! See EXCLAMATION MARK.
