PERSONAL

Born November 1, 1970, in Odessa, Soviet Union [now Ukraine]; immigrated to the United States, 1976; daughter of Alex and Elena Korot. Education: Attended the University of California at Los Angeles. Avocational Interests: Snow skiing, horseback riding, bowling, and travel.

Career: Actress. Crowned California Miss T.E.E.N., 1987; toured for six years with the Ballet Celeste International; appeared in television commercials for Always hygiene products, 2002.

Awards, Honors: Soap Opera Digest Award, outstanding female newcomer—daytime, Daytime Emmy Award nomination, outstanding younger actress in a drama series, both 1992, both for Another World.
