Born December 1, 1960, in Flushing Point (some sources say Long Island), NY; daughter of Anthony (a fire chief) and Muriel (a model and airline employee) Alt; sister of Christine Alt (a model); married Ron Greschner (a professional hockey player), November 21, 1983 (divorced, 1996); married Alexei Yashin (a professional hockey player). Education: Attended Hofstra University, 1978-79; studied acting with Susan Kellerman. Religion: Roman Catholic. Model and actress. Professional model, c. 1979-85 and beginning again in 1998, including early work with the Elite Agency; appeared on more than 700 magazine covers, including the swimsuit edition, Sports Illustrated, 1982; appeared in print ads for Lancome cosmetics, 1979, Cover Girl cosmetics, 1987, 1989, and Amaretto di Saronno, 1987-89; appeared in television commercials for Hanes clothing, 1992; served as co-anchor of Fox's local morning news show in New York City, 2002; hosted infomercials for InTon skin products, 2007, and The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer, 2007.
