Independent Christian Reformed, 4-year, coed. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1959. Setting: 53-acre suburban campus with easy access to Chicago. Endowment: $5.1 million. Research spending 2003-04: $58,923. Educational spending 2003-04: $5804 per student. Total enrollment: 1,234. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 13:1. 600 applied, 94% were admitted. 16% from top 10% of their high school class, 34% from top quarter, 62% from top half. 1 valedictorian. Full-time: 1,050 students, 63% women, 37% men. Part-time: 184 students, 67% women, 33% men. Collegiate Environment:
