Description: State and locally supported, 2-year, specialized, coed. Part of Ohio Board of Regents. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1970. Setting: 34-acre suburban campus with easy access to Cleveland. Total enrollment: 5,667. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 19:1. Full-time: 1,890 students, 55% women, 45% men. Part-time: 3,777 students, 60% women, 40% men. Students come from 4 states and territories, 55% 25 or older, 14% transferred in. Core. Calendar: semesters. Academic remediation for entering students, services for LD students, self-designed majors, independent study, distance learning, summer session for credit, part-time degree program, external degree program, adult/continuing education programs.
