Description: State and locally supported, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1983. Setting: 366-acre suburban campus. Educational spending 2002-03: $2062 per student. Total enrollment: 5,452. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 18:1. Full-time: 915 students, 65% women, 35% men. Part-time: 4,537 students, 63% women, 37% men. Students come from 50 states and territories, 6 other countries, 10% from out-of-state, 5% Native American, 51% Hispanic, 1% black, 1% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 0.5% international, 64% 25 or older, 1% transferred in.
