John D. Anello Sr. and Albert A. Silver-man Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide music education and performance opportunities with an emphasis on youth in the greater Milwaukee area. Focus: Music, vocal. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time high school or college Wisconsin music students, ages 14-22 and must have one Italian parent or grandparent. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the performance.

Funds Avail.: $1,000; $500. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicants must submit a complete application form; must pass the audition process; must attach a 250-word brief description including the musical study they plan to focus on and why and a brief biography that includes school involvement, honors, awards, and any other accomplishments. Norbert J. Beihoff Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage one or more students who have demonstrated exceptional musical potential but are not presently taking private lessons. Focus: Music. Qualif.: Applicants must be fourth to seventh grade band and orchestra students who have not yet had the opportunity for private study. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the quality of the audition, musical ability, potential, attitude and reliability, parent's statement describing their commitment and support for the lessons and home practice, and student's essay about his/her musical experiences and participation in school music activities.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must undergo an audition and must prepare an essay about his or her experiences in school music activities. Deadline: December 15. Contact: [email protected]

Elizabeth W. Boyce Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide music education and performance opportunities with an emphasis on youth in the greater Milwaukee area. Focus: Music, vocal. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Milwaukee Metropolitan Area High School in Milwaukee. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the performance.

Funds Avail.: $2,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form; 250-words including the musical study they to focus on and why and a brief biography that includes school involvement, honors, awards, and other accomplishments. Harold A. Levin Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide music education and performance opportunities with an emphasis on youth in the greater Milwaukee area. Focus: Music. Qualif.: Applicants must be college students majoring in music who graduated from a Milwaukee area high school or who currently attend a Milwaukee area college, who are under 30 years of age. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the quality of the taped performances.

Funds Avail.: Varies. To Apply: Applicants must submit three copies of a CD, or high quality cassette tape containing not more than 15 minutes of music, including at least two contrasting periods and styles, and recorded within the last 12 months. Deadline: October 1. Contact: [email protected].

Donald and Idabelle Mohr Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide music education and performance opportunities with an emphasis on youth in the greater Milwaukee area. Focus: Music education. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating seniors pursuing further education in a musical field, including music education, music therapy, theory-composition, performance and musicology Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the performance.
