Canadian Sanitation Supply Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship assistance to qualified Canadian students who will be attending college or university in Canada. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student who will be graduating high school; must be an individual who is already enrolled in a college or university in Canada; must be a young Canadian who has achieved a high level of academic and leadership standards. Criteria: Applicant will be judged based on the following criteria: (1) Applicant's ability to read and fully comprehend the terms and conditions of the application procedure; (2) Applicant's ability to ensure that all components of the application-the Applicant Information Form, the 2“x3” photo, the essay, the transcripts, the evaluation form and the typed resume-are received by the CSSA Scholarship Foundation office; (3) Applicant's academic achievements as well as school/college activities, volunteerism and social achievements; (4) Quality of the essay - originality, clarity, grammar and presentation.

Funds Avail.: $2,000 offered in each of the six regions: Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba & Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia. Number Awarded: 6. To Apply: Applicant must complete the application form available online; must have a photograph, and official high school or college transcript; must provide

an essay on: “What does your school custodian or facilities manager think about the Green cleaning Movement?”; must have a typed resume with name, planned occupation or profession, high school information, college or university information, employment history, activity and leadership record, and applicant evaluation form completed by a counselor or teacher. Deadline: June 1.
