Canadian Parking Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to students in their pursuit of academic excellence and to encourage post-secondary study that enhances the parking industry in Canada. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be registered CPA members whose job function is 50% related to parking, their spouses and dependents, members' employees whose job function is 50% related to parking, their spouses and dependents with a minimum average of 70% in the last three semesters of studies (non-academic courses such as career or personal development related courses will not be considered). Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on academic performance; extracurricular activities or volunteer/community involvement, excluding those which are included in the high school curriculum; and quality of reference letters (one from a teacher and one from a person familiar with extracurricular activities or community involvement, excluding family members).
Funds Avail.: $2,000. Number Awarded: 10. To Apply:
Applicants must submit the completed application form; official transcript of the last three semesters of available marks; description of extracurricular activities or volunteer/community involvement; two signed letters of reference; and the parental consent form. Deadline: May 15.
