Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage careers and increase interest in the field of law. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Program is open to second or third year full-time law students as well as to fourth year law students enrolled in night programs intending to practice law in California. Criteria: Recipients are selected on the basis of financial need, community service, academic achievement and legal writing ability.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must return completed application along with other required documents. Applications should be either typed or handwritten in black or dark blue ink. Applicants must submit the following attachments: current official school transcript, including school grading scale; letter from law school verifying the current academic status; and resume.
