IAESTE United States Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help defray some of the costs associated with relocating overseas. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: An applicant must be of IAESTE United States at the time of internship. Criteria: Recipient will be based on the choice of destination which enables a student to leave the familiar and thereby grow professionally, culturally, and personally; a drive to use the international experience as a springboard to further develop the skills and competencies needed to fulfill a successful career of lifelong learning; choice of a region that directly relates to a student's academic, personal, and cultural interests.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicant must submit a scholarship application form; a photo of the internship experience; a 500 word essay explaining the meaning and value of IAESTE internship. Deadline: December 1. Contact: [email protected].

Jessica King Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: to help defray some of the costs associating with relocating overseas. Focus: Hospitals-Administration. Qualif.: All applicants must be 18 years old and not older than 35; he/she must have been participating in an AIPT-sponsored program; must have been approved for the work permit to take up that position; must have been offered an overseas position; must have a degree in the hospitality industry; he/she must be currently employed for at least one year in hospitality industry; must be a U.S. citizen only. Criteria: Committee will evaluate the application based upon the merit, and not on the financial need.
