AERA-AIR Fellows Program (Postdoctorate/Fellowship)
Purpose: To support early career scholars by providing intensive research and training opportunities to recent doctoral recipients in the fields and disciplines related to the scientific study of education and education processes; to increase the number of underrepresented minority professionals conducting advanced research or providing technical assistance. Focus: Education. Qualif.: Applicants must be U.S citizens and permanent residents; must have completed their PhD/EdD degrees within the three years prior to application. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on their research proposal.
Funds Avail.: $45,000-$50,000. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online; must submit a letter of recommendation and transcript of record. Purpose: To increase the involvement of women and underrepresented minority professionals in measurement, psychometrics, assessment, and related fields. Focus: Testing, educational/psychological. Qualif.: Applicants must be U.S citizens and permanent residents; must have completed their PhD/EdD degrees within the three years prior to application. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the scholarship selection criteria.
Funds Avail.: $50,000. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online; must submit a letter of recommendation and transcript of record. AERA Minority Fellowship Program in Education Research (Postdoctorate/Fellowship)
Purpose: To provide support for doctoral dissertation research and to advance education research by outstanding minority graduate students and to improve the quality and diversity of university faculties. Focus: Education. Qua-lif.: Applicant must be a U.S citizen and permanent resident; must work full-time on his or her dissertations and course requirements. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the application requirements.
Funds Avail.: Stipend of $12,000 and up to $1,000 in travel support to attend the AERA Annual Meeting. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online; must submit a letter of recommendation and transcript of record.
