American Criminal Justice Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support to members who are upper or lower division students or graduate students enrolled in a course of study in the criminal justice field. Focus: Criminal Justice. Qualif.: Applicants must be US citizens or eligible non-citizens; must be ACJA/LAE chapter members; must be currently enrolled in a recognized course of study directly or indirectly associated with the criminal justice field; must have achieved a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0; must be currently enrolled with a minimum course of at least two-thirds of full-time loads. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on: overall GPA of 3.0 or better on a scale of 4.0; GPA of basic courses completed in criminal justice or related field of study; and statement of career and educational goals.

Funds Avail.: $400; $200; $100. To Apply: Applicants must fill out application form. Applicants must submit: five copies of school transcript; five copies of letters of recommendation from chapter officers and faculty advisors; career and educational goal statement.
