American Culinary Federation Chair's Scholarship Grants (All/Scholarship)

Purpose: to provide financial assistance to those studying culinary arts. Focus: Culinary arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be a student hot food team sponsored by an ACF Chapter; have already won their state competition and are ready to go to the regional competition, or have won their regional competition and are ready to go to the national competition; must be ACF Student Members in good standing and have held at least one fundraiser. Criteria: Recipient will be selected based on the American Academy of Chefs Scholarship Committee's review of the application materials.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants

must submit a completed application form; proof of fundraiser and amount raised; and signed images release to use the team's names and/or photos in ACF publications. Deadline: For state teams going to Regionals: the application is due at least 15 days before the regional competition. For Regional teams going to Nationals: the application is due by June 1.

Criteria: Scholarship recipient will be selected based on the American Academy of Chefs Scholarship Committee's review of the application materials.

Qualif.: For initial certification, applicants must pass an initial ACF certification class with a “C” grade or better. For continuing education, applicants must be certified by the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Chef d' Cuisine or higher; enrolled in a state accredited educational institution for the purpose of enhancing culinary skills or knowledge; an active member of the American Culinary Federation in good standing for three or more years. Criteria: Scholarship recipient will be selected based on the American Academy of Chefs Scholarship Committee's review of the application materials.

Funds Avail.: $750. Funds will be used for approved

courses only. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form, proof of certification, proof of ACF membership and total cost of class.

Stanley “Doc” Jensen Scholarships (High School/Scholarship)

Purpose: to provide financial assistance to those studying culinary arts. Focus: Culinary arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be an exemplary senior high school student eligible to graduate the same year as the scholarship is applied for.
