The RTKL Traveling Fellowships (Undergraduate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To encourage and support foreign travel undertaken to further educational goals. Focus: Architecture. Qualif.: Applicants must be students planning independent foreign travel outside the United States and those who have been selected to participate in established school travel programs. Students must be in the second-to-last year of a BArch or MArch program when applying and complete the travel prior to graduation. Those undertaking independent travel must be accepted in an advanced degree program. Criteria: Applicants are selected based on the jury's review of the application materials.

Funds Avail.: $2,500. Number Awarded: 1. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed official application form; an 800-word proposal describing the objective for the trip and the relationship to his/her education goals; an official transcript from each college attended; three references in support of the proposal; an itinerary; an estimated budget; a list of previous scholarships and architectural awards. Deadline: February 15.
