Liturgiology

Liturgiology. The study of liturgy or liturgies leading to a revival (or interpretation) of liturgical forms, especially in relation to the Eucharist. It played an important part in late-C19 and C20 ecclesiastical architecture, not-ably in the work of Comper, Micklethwaite, and Sedding.
