Wennerberg-Reuter, Sara

Wennerberg-Reuter, Sara (Margareta Eugenia Euphrosyne), Swedish composer, niece of Gunnar Wennerberg; b. Otterstad, Feb. 11, 1875; d. Stockholm, March 29, 1959. She studied organ and harmony in Göteborg with Andrée. After training in organ and choral music at the Stockholm Cons. (1893-95), she was a student of Jadassohn and Reinecke at the Leipzig Cons. (1896-98) and of Bruch at the Berlin Hochschule für Musik (1901-02). She composed instrumental pieces, cantatas, and songs.
