Cassadó [Moreu], Gaspar (b Barcelona, 1897; d Madrid, 1966). Sp. cellist and composer. Int. career began in 1918. Toured extensively as solo cellist and in chamber mus. with Menuhin, Huberman, Kentner, and Rubinstein. Prof. at Siena Acad. Wrote vc. conc., str. qts., pf. trio, and Rapsodìa Catalana.
