Calino Castureme

Calino Castureme (Caleno custureme). Tune mentioned by Shakespeare in Henry V (Act IV, sc. 4). It is to be found in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book. In A Handefull of Pleasant Delites, 1584, the words ‘Caleno Custureme’ are interpolated between every 2 lines of the poem ‘When as I view your comly grace’. Possibly a perversion of the Irish ‘Cailìn, ó cois t Suire, mé’ (I am a girl from the banks of the river Suir).
