Battolino da Padova (Magister Frater Bar-tolinus de Padua; Frater carmelitus)
Battolino da Padova (Magister Frater Bar-tolinus de Padua; Frater carmelitus), Italian composer who flourished in the second half of the 14th century. He was a member of the Carmelite Order, active in Padua. Some 38 works have been attributed to him, consisting of ballads and madrigals in the style of Jacopo da Bologna. See J.
