Wedding Crashers ★★★ 2005 (R)

Womanizing buds John (Wilson) and Jeremy (Vaughn) are divorce mediators who crash weddings in order to pick up Ms. Right Now. Only John really falls for engaged Claire (McAdams), who's the daughter of eccentric politician William Cleary (Walken), and the duo find themselves spending the weekend at the family's waterfront estate. Harkens back to the “Animal House/Blues Brothers/Caddyshack” glory days of R-rated comedy, earning the rating and plenty of laughs. Vaughn and Wilson do what they do best, and have great chemistry. Walken, though underused, is effective. Stumbles a little toward the end, but not enough to spoil the festivities. 119m/C DVD, UMD .
